Henkel made the business decision to consolidate their Winnipeg inventory with Fort when they obtained a 3rd party warehouse facility in Winnipeg in a corporate acquisition. Fort handles all their Western Canadian distribution needs out of their Winnipeg MB and Airdrie AB facilities.

Henkel Canada, a Division of Henkel, the well known worldwide brand, handles adhesives and metal pretreatment products for a wide variety of industries, including automotive, automotive parts, steel mill industries and containers and packaging. Henkel’s metal pre-treatment products are used in the automotive industry to coat metal prior to painting among other uses, while the well known Loctite® brand adhesives, sealants and chemical products are used in a wide variety of industries across the country.

Henkel began working with Fort over 10 years ago, and today makes weekly shipments out to our two Fort locations in Winnipeg MB and Airdrie AB to service their Western Canadian customer base. In 2009 they made the business decision to consolidate all Western Canadian stock at Fort in Winnipeg and Airdrie; as a result they closed down a 3rd party warehouse Henkel had acquired in an acquisition when their analysis showed that Fort could better meet their logistics, distribution and storage needs on both the cost and quality fronts.
